The Satmar Rebbe stepped into the courtyard of his home in Kiryas Yoel, Monroe, to perform the rare mitzvah of shiluach haken. After the Rebbe sent away the mother bird, one of the chassidim climbed to the top of the tall tree to retrieve the eggs from the nest. He then carefully brought them down and presented them to the Rebbe, who was visibly moved by the opportunity to fulfill the special mitzvah.
