This was this past Friday, Hoshanah Rabbah, when Rav Yisroel Hisiger visited Rav Alster in Lakewood. Both of them are talmidim of Rav Yitzchok Hutner, and both were zocheh to be at Rav Hutner’s own private Pesach Sedarim. Here, Rabbi Hisiger shares a song that he witnessed Rav Hutner compose on the spot at a Seder, and Rabbi Alster – the master composer himself – then recalls the notes of the song as well.
