Pachad Yitzchok rosh yeshiva Rav Yonason David visiting Camp Morris to elevate the bnei Torah there, appreciating the growth and success of the summer location named for Chaim Berlin’s first president, Moshe (Morris) Meltzer, who worked tirelessly to acquire the camp’s original location in Kiamesha Lake, helping to bring to fruition the dream of the rosh yeshiva, Rav Hutner, Rav David’s father-in-law, to create a summer haven for his bochurim, a vision that came about in 1946.
