Everett Fortune has been chief of security of Yeshiva Darchei Torah for 30 years. Yesterday a memorial service was held for his brother, former Darchei security guard Elliot Fortune. Today, when Everett returned to yeshiva, as he was welcomed back by Rabbi Moshe Benoliel, Director of Alumni Affairs, he was overcome by emotion upon seeing a double-sided giant posterboard of condolence signed by the talmidim, letting Everett know that he is true part of the family.
