September 6, 2023 The family had celebrated their son’s bar mitzvah at the Kosel, parking their car illegally after having a difficult time finding a spot. They left a note for the policeman, explaining their predicament. They returned to find a ticket from a police officer – not with a fine or summons, but with a mazel tov wish…a Yiddishe neshamah understanding and appreciating the celebration of another.
