Reserve fighter Kfir Zar was critically wounded in December after an anti-tank missile hit his tank in Gaza. He was now released to his home and parents’ yishuv, with residents waving flags to welcome him after months of hospitalization. He made an extraordinary recovery after receiving a lung donation. He is considered one of the most severely wounded in the war, and for months he fought for his life and was on ventilators. Today he is home B”H.
